Salon Policies 

Services

All color services are only guaranteed when using professional products purchased from a salon professional. Over the counter products, will not protect the longevity of your color service.

 

Fashion colors such as blues, reds, pinks and purples and other vibrant fun hues, are not intended to be long lasting. These colors only last at most 2 weeks and need to be washed minimally and in cold water with professional products.

 

We guarantee our artistry 100%. If you for any reason are unhappy with a service, please make us aware within 5 days of the original date of your service.

Products

We custom prescribe the best product regimen that will work best for your hair. However if for any reason you find you are not completely in love with a product, we offer a return policy on retail products lightly used or damaged within the first 30 days after purchase. Retail products will be returned for a credit that can be applied to a service or retail item. No cash refunds will be given.

Appointments

We strongly recommend scheduling your reservation in advance. Your appointments are very important to all of us at Apothecary Hair Lounge, it is time reserved especially for you. We understand that emergencies come up which require scheduling adjustments. If for any reason you cannot make your scheduled appointment, we request at least48 hours' notice. If you cancel your appointment less than 48 hours before , you will be charged for 50% of the reserved service amount. "No show" and same day cancellations will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. 

Electronic Devices

To maintain a relaxing environment for our guests, as well as to allow our artists to be able to focus on providing our guests with an extraordinary healthy hair experience, we kindly ask that all guests refrain from using cell phones, tablets, or computers in a way that plays audio aloud through the speakers. This includes phone calls on speaker, facetime, zoom calls, videos, games, etc. If you must use your devices with audio while visiting us, we please ask that you use headphones or enjoy our outdoor spaces. This will allow our guests to be able to relax as well as converse with their stylist. It also allows our stylists to focus on providing quality artistry to each & every guest. 

Children

We kindly ask that children under the age of 16 not accompany you to your hair appointments. We love our little ones, we really do. However, for safety & insurance purposes we will no longer be able to permit children to wait with you during your appointments.  Our salon is not child-proof & we would hate to see any little ones get hurt. Sharp instruments, chemicals, hot styling tools, & busy, congested styling areas make for a potentially dangerous environment for young ones. In addition, this policy ensures that you & all our salon guests enjoy the peaceful, relaxing experience we work so hard to provide. We greatly appreciate your understanding & cooperation.

Gratuity is left to the discretion of each guest & is greatly appreciated by our artists. Due to rising costs of payment processing we cannot accept gratuities via your credit or debit card. We kindly ask that all gratuities be given in cash.
